What you will do
As a Senior Market Intelligence Specialist, you will assist in the planning and execution of product development projects while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. You will help ensure consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle, prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses and execute high quality, integrated cross-functional plans for projects. You will also apply best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects while interacting with research and development, marketing, manufacturing and regulatory departments. Responsibilities may include:
Demonstrates mastery of all the basic skills required for identifying and assessing product opportunities
Demonstrates advanced skills in any of the following areas: market or product assessment, outcome generation and KOL development
Understands and follows Sage NPD business model
Mentors Marketing Intelligence Specialists (MIS) in the nuances of the Sage NPD business model
Communicates and influences internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, operations, regulatory) as new concepts are moved through the development process
Develops strong, lasting relationships with health care practitioners (HCP s) in various health care settings
Visits directly with HCP s as appropriate, and minimally 2 days per week
Employs primary research strategies to obtain quality input from HCP s, KOL s, and clinical decision makers
Performs secondary research to identify market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and obtain clinical support for assigned projects.
Works cross-functionally to develop and launch new products that are aligned with the divisions strategic plans
Plans and leads product development from proof of concept to pilot scale and to market release as applicable
Collaborates and leads with our Sales and Marketing teams, as well as customers to better understand business and clinical needs, and translate those into value propositions for business investments
Leads the alignment of Regulatory and Downstream Marketing on product claims and launch strategies
Initiates the development of outcome-based clinical support to drive concept adoption post-launch
Possesses advanced proficiency with project management principles to effectively meet project milestones to achieve desired outcomes
Provides leadership in business updates/presentations to management and stakeholders

What you need
Bachelor s degree; Advanced or Clinical degree (BSN/RN) preferred
Background in critical care nursing (Hospital ER or ICU), product development, sales or product management highly preferred
2 years experience in product or market development preferred
Successful track record of developing and introducing new product concepts preferred
